Hello all,
I have decided to move this blog over to Wordpress, since both my other blogs are over there, and I understand how to use it better :P

After finishing the Chef costume, I decided to pull out a project that had been packed up quite some time ago, a Blue Regency dress that I had been working on about a year and a half ago. (I didn't finish it in time for what it was intended for, so I put it away so I could work on something else instead)

Anywhoo, I had the Bodice done, and the sleeves just barely started.

As it is, I am finishing it on my own, as the one page of instructions I have ends about here. If I get stuck though, I'll go to Joanns and look at the pattern there. I've already finished one of the sleeves, I cut a piece of fabric out to gather it too, and then to make a nice finish. (I might need to re-do it, but I'm not sure yet)

So, I need to do the other sleeve, and then put the skirt on, and put some buttons on the back.

It's Finished! Actually, it was finished a few weeks ago. :) But I finally took some pics, and here they are. :D

Well, I am terribly sorry that I have taken so long to actually post anything in here. The simple reason I have for this is that I have not finished anything. :/ I finally decided to just come in here and tell you about what I'm in the middle of. :D

I'm still almost done with the Chef costume I am making for the 2 y/o I watch. This it the shirt (the buttons are all on it now, and the pins show where the buttons will be going. :))

And here is with the pants. 

I will finish the hat soon, it is already partially done. And then I will show you the whole thing. :)

My other project right now is a skirt, pink of course. :D It is view B in this pattern.

And this is my fabric, all cut out and waiting to be sewn. :D

And there you have it. I will try to get something done soon, and I will post about it as soon as it happens. :D (and I apologize if anything looks funny in my blog, I am learning how to use blogger right now :))

Hello people!

I decided to start a sewing blog, so here it is! :D Please let me know what you think of what I am sewing, as I share it with you. I'm still learning, but I love learning, so that's a great place to be :D

 I'm hoping to start doing some things with out patterns. I have a top in mind right now that I'm going to try to make without a pattern. I will try to draw up an image of what I'm looking for and post it here soon. 

 I'm also in the middle of sewing halloween costumes for the three adorable girls I nanny for. I"m working on a 'cook' costume for the 2 y/o, complete with cook hat! :D

I have a bunch of costumes I want to make, so I will just tell you about those as I get to them :)
